Music at TGS is thriving.
We have wonderful facilities, brought to us thanks to a highly successful fundraising campaign back in 2015.
We have an amazing Music Department led by Mr Simon Hayward, our very own music pied piper.
Mr Hayward and Mrs Bartle lead a huge selection of music clubs and the school calendar is peppered with concerts and musical doings throughout the year.
Students practice in the sound proof music pods and emerge to delight their audiences. The latest Tea Concert was a sell-out.
Can you help us upgrade the pianos?
Use this link to Join TGS Music Society today to help our appeal to replace our pianos
We would like to upgrade the stock of pianos. They have been loved over many, many years. Now, they really do need to be replaced.
The pianos we need range from approximately £3,000 for a 'practice piano', to approximately £8,000 fora 'grade 8' piano.
An aspiration one day would be to have a concert piano but this is not the focus at the moment.
Giving to 'Pianos' gives you membership to TGS Music Society as well.
All gifts whatever their size make a big difference.
Thank you!
