The Friends of 1953 event 2019 will be on Friday 26 April 12.15 to 2.15pm.
 
There are now 14 recipients and we very much hope that everyone will be able to come. 
 
For those who are unfamiliar with “Friends of 1953”, this is the name given to the Prize Giving award that you received.  It came in to being in 2013 and since then we have met annually with the group of TGS alumni who presented the award.  
 
Our informal gathering offers a delightful opportunity to meet as a TGS group of Friends, award winners and a family member, plus your TGS teachers.  Over refreshments we share post school adventures and generally chat about our common bond TGS.  We hope to continue this network event for you over the years to come.
 
In addition to chat and refreshments we are thinking of asking you if you would like to share as a panel with other current students, who I know will be eager to hear what you have been up to.  You will be an inspiration to them as they look to their futures post TGS.
