Schools play a key role in ensuring that students, their families and teachers are informed about apprenticeships (and other post-16 and post18 options).
National Apprenticeships Week 'skills for life', NAW 2026, provides a central focus and opportunity to showcase the wide range of employers, apprentices and their success stories.
At TGS, apprenticeships, especially degree apprenticeships, are an increasingly popular post school pathway option for our students.
This Call for Volunteers invites our alumni and parents and business partners to visit school either in person or on line, to share expertise, experiences, signpost resourcess, and talk to students. These highly personalised case studies have a unique relevance for our students, and help them research their own best options.
TGS NAW 2026 week starting Monday 9 February 2026 will be a mixture of class room talks and assemblies and resources. The TGS programme will be shaped by the experience and availability of you our volunteers. We are excited to hear your ideas. All are very welcome.
