Scaling great heights - Ellie B

TGS alum Elllie writes to us from her van in the Yorkshire Dales - look where her climbing rope is!
Hi Pippa,

I’d love to join the alumni network, thanks for inviting me!

I graduated last year with BA Geography and have had a chilled out year since, working as a climbing instructor and I even started living in a converted van! I’m hoping to start a Masters in Sustainability and Consultancy in September with the aim of working towards a career in sustainability consultancy (surprise, surprise!).

Regarding the lockdown, its been a crazy experience! I got off quite lightly though as I was furloughed from work so have just been making the most of my van and amazing places around Leeds like the Dales and Peaks etc. Admittedly I did also buy a playstation to pass the time!

I hope everyone over at TGS are doing well and everything can quickly get back to normal! I’d also like to add that TGS for me was such a great experience with fond memories and I’m very grateful for my years there! So thank you for replying and keeping everyone connected!

Best wishes,

Ellie
