On Monday 24 June I travelled to Great Yarmouth to be part of a very special party for our most senior alumna Rita on her 110th birthday. 

Rita lives at St Edhmunds Residential Care Home, a wonderful family of carers, with rooms overlooking the sea.  

I took with me the birthday cards made for her by our year 8 Debney students.  Thank you for making her day extra special.

Rita was at TGS, Tonbridge County School as we were then, between 1925 and 1931. 

Our very best wishes to Rita.
