Alumni Stories |
Our annual 10 to 6 event in June brimmed with inspirations from our alumni who came in to school for the day to help run sessions designed to give year 10 students a taste of life in Sixth Form at TGS.
During tea outside in the quad our alumni guests chatted with students and their teachers. Parents and carers joined in the conversations on their way to the evening presentations, and afterwards their chats continued.
A great day for everyone. And a great testament to TGS that our alumni want to come back to catch up and support the School just as alumni peers had done for them!
Here is a taste of the varied post school pathways of TGS students:
Jess - Second year student studying Chemistry at Oxford
Alice - St Andrew's, Master of Arts in International Relations. Alice will graduate in 2026
Cordelia - Third year student at BIMM university working towards BA Hons Music Production and Songwriting
Nirvana - Class of 2015. Clinical Lead Community Mental Health Pharmacist.
Saraf - Second year student, University of Nottingham studying Law.
Charlotte - Psychological and Behavioural Sciences at Cambridge followed by a masters in Neuroscience at Cambridge
Rosie - Second year student, BSc Ecology and Conservation at UEA.
Niamh - F3 doctor
Ishana - LSE Maths and Economics
Grace - University of Oxford, French and Spanish
Syeda - University of Westminster, Architecture
Thank you all so much coming. We shall see you again soon! Next year is our 120th school anniversary!
We warmly encourage you to keep your profile on TGS Connections updated so that we can keep you abreast of news and invitations
Best wishes
