TGS Chapter The Davis family
TGS120 asking, amongst other things, if TGS runs in the family. In our case, it certainly does run in our family. Three generations of pupils and two governors!
My wife Sylvia Davis neé Clarke ( who sadly now has dementia) joined the school in 1947, my daughter Heidi Guinane neé Davis followed her in 1975, and grand daughter Rebecca Davis in 2011. I was a governor of the school from 1974 to 2005 and my son Mark Davis was also a governor from 2003 to 2020 and continues to be a Member to this day.
