I live near Amsterdam and make it home a couple of times a year. This visit I managed to get together with 7 others from my year, 40 years after we left school.
What a brilliant lot they are and so interesting to hear all their news and see what they're doing now. From teachers to a Reuters journalist, they are diverse, clever, funny and in my head we are all 17 again.
What a special bond we share.
