Why did you choose Design at TGS?
The teaching was always incredibly supportive. From my very first DT lesson, I felt mentored, encouraged, and motivated to use design to make a difference. The facilities and the culture at TGS are genuinely unmatched, it was the subject that made me feel most at home.
Where did you go next?
I went on to study Industrial Design at Loughborough University.
What do you do now?
I’m the founder and CEO of Amora, a reusable menstrual care company. Our first product, Halo, is a portable menstrual cup rinsing pod designed for confident, hygienic use in public and at home. I’m also the co-founder of Level Collective, a women-and-allies design and entrepreneurship community focused on connection, mentorship, and creative growth.
What did you get from studying Design at TGS? Do you use those skills now?
Resilience, discipline, and a deep passion for problem-solving. Design at TGS taught me how to think critically, communicate clearly, and push ideas from sketch to reality. I use those skills every single day running a company, designing products, and leading creative projects.
Why Design at TGS for students choosing now?
TGS is an incredible place-I still miss it. There are very few schools with such a strong culture of curiosity, creativity, and genuine care for students. Studying Design at TGS gives you the confidence, mindset, and practical skills to tackle real problems and create things that matter. It’s an amazing foundation for any future in design, engineering, business, or beyond.
