Meet our Master of Design Molly Class of 2022

What did you study at TGS Sixth Form?​

I discovered my love for designing creative solutions to real world problems through the interactivity and enthusiasmof the Design Technology staff here at TGS. The title of my Sixth Form IA project was Parkinsons Cutlery Aid.​

Where did you go next? ​

I went on to study Product Design Engineering (BSc) at Brunel University London’s Design School. I am currentlycompleting a Master of Design degree (MDes) at Brunel University London.​

What did your TGS education give you? ​

TGS taught me fundamental design approaches while tackling real world problems and provided me withopportunities to hone my skills in design research and investigation, skills that I continue to use now as I develop mycareer. TGS also encouraged creativity and helped me bring my designs to life. ​

When I began my degree, I found that the approaches and design thinking used in my projects came naturally to me,and I feel that TGS is responsible for this as I had previously practiced them thoroughly here. ​
