It saddens me deeply to have to share with our TGS alumni community that we have lost a very dear and brave member of Class of 1998.
Laura Evans nee Pilbeam has passed away after a nearly 20 years battle with a brain tumour. A service of thanksgiving for Laura is on 11 November at 11am in Telston near Wateringby.
Some ten years ago I got to know Laura when she got in touch with School and visited and worked with me in the Development Office. Always smiling, a courageous woman and a much loved member of the alumni community of Tunbridge Grammar School. This photograph is of Laura and another alumna, the late Lucy Sellers, who came for a visit with Laura.
