Our reading pledge: The greatest gift you can give.

A headline in The Sunday Times newspaper this weekend made me smile!

TGS has already "turned the the page on Britain's reading crisis".

Here at school every student, every day of the year, thanks to generous giving to School Fund, has access to a catalogue of over 11000 books for reading for pleasure and to support curriculum learning. Our inspirational Librarian Mrs Maloney is on hand every day to steer and guide and develop online research skills. A committed group of student Librarians help manage and keep the Library orderly.

Situated in the heart of the main school building, the Library is a thriving busy place from 8am to dusk. The Library is a great space to host lectures and after school events. Book Club for adults is popular and welcomes new members.

With heartfelt thanks to our alumni, parents, students, and friends of TGS for your genverous giving to School Fund.

Find out more and make your "greatest gift of books" via the Support Us page https://connect.tgs.kent.sch.uk/supportus

With my best wishes
